Progress and unity took center stage in Sta. Lucia, Samal, as outgoing Bataan First District Representative Geraldine Roman and Board Member Atty. Tony Roman joined forces to celebrate two major milestones: the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Barangay Hall and the inauguration of the Barangay Covered Court.

These projects signify more than just infrastructure,” said Congresswoman Roman. “They symbolize our shared commitment to improving the quality of life for every Bataeño. Together, we’re creating spaces where community life can thrive.” The Barangay Hall promises to enhance local governance and accessibility, while the newly inaugurated covered court provides a venue for recreation, cultural activities, and disaster response.

Both projects exemplify Rep. Roman’s trademark Serbisyong May Puso, a governance approach that prioritizes compassion and inclusivity.

Meanwhile, Board Member Tony Roman III furthered his advocacy for economic empowerment through the Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program. In collaboration with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and with funding from Senator Jinggoy Estrada, the program will benefit 338 residents from Hermosa and Orani. “TUPAD is more than just temporary employment; it’s a lifeline for our people,” said Atty. Roman. “Through this initiative, we aim to uplift families, one job at a time, as we continue delivering services that truly matter.”

As the 2025 midterm elections approach, Rep. Roman prepares to pass the torch to her brother Atty. Tony Roman III, who is running unopposed for the First District’s congressional seat. Their collaborative efforts reflect a seamless transition of leadership, ensuring continuity in delivering projects and programs for the district. Residents of Bataan are already reaping the rewards of this dynamic partnership, with more projects in the pipeline aimed at fostering growth, livelihood, and resilience. “Together with the local government, we’re proving that with unity, there is progress,” added Congresswoman Roman. “This is our collective promise to every Bataeño.”
